In a recent California Healthline report, experts worry that low Medi-Cal reimbursements rates will continue to force more doctors out of Medi-Cal program.  Without additional doctors accepting Medi-Cal, California will not be able to meet the needs of the newly eligible Medi-Cal population in 2014.  California’s Medi-Cal reimbursement rates are some of the lowest in the nation, ranking 47th out of 50 states.
